What is CBD Oil?

CBD oil is a completely herbal and natural product and is made from the flowers and leaves of the cannabis & hemp plant. CBD has no dangerous side effects.  But of course there are many more questions about CBD, which we get regularly asked and which should be answered. Here are our most frequently asked questions about CBD.

CBD oil is extracted from hemp plants. CBD is a cannabinoid (like THC) but has no psychoactive effect and is used by people with a variety of ailments. These cannabinoids are mainly produced in the trichomes on the cannabis & hemp flowers. These trichomes are also called resin because it is very sticky (oily). To extract CBD oil, this resin or trichome is extracted from the plants. This resin is then sold either pure or diluted with oil.

The difference between CBD Oil and THC Oil?

CBD oil is made from hemp (cannabis sativa) and contains little or no THC. THC oil is made from cannabis plants which contain a high amount of THC and usually very little CBD. THC oil is also called Cannabis Oil or Rick-Simpson oil and is illegal in most parts of the world because of the high concentration of THC.

The use of CBD oil varies per person and product. It is recommended to start with 1 to 2 drops per application and do this 1 or 2 times a day. The dose can then be adjusted as required.

What is the difference between Isolate Tincture Oil and Full Spectrum Tincture Oil

CBD  isolate is the purest form of cannabidiol. It is powerful and takes effect  in the body very quickly. It's extracted from the hemp plant using a variety of  different extraction methods (drawing out the cannabinoids of the hemp plant,  along with other healthy plant material that naturally occur in the  plant). Once  extracted, what's left is a substance that's then purified to filter out any  unwanted components through winterization, leaving behind a CBD isolate product  that's as much as 99% pure CBD.

Full-spectrum CBD oil has the full cannabinoid  profile of the hemp plant, as well as other compounds that are present,  including other cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes. Also referred to a  "whole plant extraction," full-spectrum CBD oil extraction allows users to  experience the full beneficial effects of other compounds that the hemp plant  naturally possesses, which creates what is called the "entourage" effect.

Which one is better to use - Isolate or Full Spectrum CBD

There is no definitive answer to this question, however, ask yourself what your exact needs are to get the right product for you.

CBD isolate is promising and provides the body with near-immediate effects. It's exactly what it sounds like: an isolated CBD compound without any other active compound. It's the purest form of CBD. However, often times the effects vary amongst individuals.

It was long believed that CBD isolate was the best form of CBD to take, for obvious reasons. But that might not necessarily always be the case.

Since full-spectrum CBD oil contains a variety of other active compounds that work together, the "synergistic effect" of all the cannabinoids and other compounds in the hemp plant work well to provide powerful relief from a variety of symptoms.
